After using servo motors for so many years, do you know that servo motors actually distinguish between low inertia and high inertia? So what is low inertia and what is high inertia? What are the hazards of choosing a servo motor for everyone? ? Today I will share with you guys.
In fact, inertia is a measure of the inertial force of a rigid body rotating around an axis, and rotational inertia is a scalar that expresses the size of the rigid body's rotational inertial force. It is related to the quality of the rigid body and the distribution of the quality relative to the transmission shaft. (Rigid body refers to an object that is not easy to change under ideal conditions), and the motor inertia is also a key indicator value of the servo motor motor under the selected situation. It refers to the inertia of the servo motor motor rotor itself, which is very critical for the acceleration and deceleration of the motor. If the inertia cannot be matched very well, the posture of the motor will be very unstable.
Generally, low inertia means that the overall body of the servo motor motor is relatively flat and long, and the inertia of the main shaft bearing is small. When our motor does a fitness exercise with a relatively high back and forth frequency, due to the small inertia, the heat will be relatively small. Therefore, our low-inertia motor is more suitable for high-frequency back-and-forth exercise.
